## Special Report: Update (PXL)
GRANT BRICKMAN: An update on our special report: the Harry Potter series has five new cast members.
GRANT BRICKMAN: Who exactly are the five new cast members?
GRANT BRICKMAN: An update on our special report. There is a new headline on the Harry Potter series, and I am told it is a big one.
GRETA FOOTNOTE: Moviepilot reports the official start date on HBO Max was only just revealed, and now the next announcement is here.
GRANT BRICKMAN: Five new faces join the cast, for the Sorting Hat, the Fat Lady and the Hogwarts house ghosts. A hat gets a cast. Remarkable.
GRETA FOOTNOTE: The article says five additions. It does not give the names in what we have, so we will not guess them.
GRANT BRICKMAN: The ghosts will finally be on payroll. Back to the studio.

GRETA FOOTNOTE: Ninety new genre books are coming in November, and Roxy asked the street what is going on the nightstand.
GRANT BRICKMAN: It is Friday afternoon, the days are short and the reading lists are long. Roxy Reel is out on the street with the November books.
GRETA FOOTNOTE: For viewers just joining: we first told you about this Friday 15:15 today. Ninety new sci-fi, fantasy and horror titles. Roxy asked people what they want.
ROXY: Reel one, darlings! Ninety new books, and I stopped real people to ask which ones they are taking home. No spoilers. Probably.
PASSERBY: A fated mates monster romance with an orc king and a portal? I am sold. Honestly, I was sold at orc.
PASSERBY: Memoirs from Andy Serkis and LeVar Burton for me. Cold evenings, and two voices I would happily hear read to me.
ROXY: Four reels already! And A.T. Rainach's debut has an ancient God of War finding a reincarnated love. I am crying and it is not even a trailer.
PASSERBY: One collection has thirty-one stories? Perfect. I can finish one per coffee and call it a degree.
GRANT BRICKMAN: Prime stay-home-and-read season, says the article. Back to you, Greta, and to my bookmark.

## GSLV Mk II | IRNSS-1L (NVS-03) (Launch Library 2)
GRANT BRICKMAN: Launch watch: a GSLV Mk II is on the pad with a replacement navigation satellite, status Go for Launch.
GRETA FOOTNOTE: Launch watch. A GSLV Mk II is on the pad in India, and the status is Go for Launch. Nova Quark is there.
NOVA: Thank you, Greta! The rocket is a GSLV Mk. II from the Indian Space Research Organization, at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre Second Launch Pad.
NOVA: It carries IRNSS-1L, also called NVS-03, a navigation mission. It is a replacement satellite for the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System.
NOVA: The target is Geostationary Transfer Orbit, with T-zero at 19:21 CET today, Berlin time. Look at the T-minus clock on screen. I am keeping my helmet on.
GRANT BRICKMAN: So it has not launched yet. We will keep our eyes on the clock and our hands off the rocket.

## [AD · fictional product] Dunmore Backup
GRETA FOOTNOTE: A public service announcement. Your photos live in one place. That place is a phone you keep on the edge of the sofa.
GRETA FOOTNOTE: Make a second copy. Then check that the copy opens. A backup you have never opened is just a hope.
GRETA FOOTNOTE: Do it today, before the sofa decides for you. Now you know.

## Weather
STORMY BYTES: London first: 15 degrees now under a clear sky, high 16, low 10, and a 0 percent chance of rain. Hype pressure is calm, the umbrellas are bored.
STORMY BYTES: Paris is 15 degrees and clear right now, high 16, low 7, 0 percent chance of rain. Partly cloudy later, which is the sky's way of showing off.
STORMY BYTES: Berlin, our home town: 9 degrees, overcast, light drizzle in the air. High 9, low 7, 0 percent chance of rain. Drizzle with commitment issues.
STORMY BYTES: Madrid is warm at 22 degrees, partly cloudy, high 22, low 10, 0 percent chance of rain. Pack the sunglasses and a light jacket for the night.
STORMY BYTES: Rome closes the tour: 18 degrees, partly cloudy, high 20, low 9, and a 3 percent chance of rain. Basically perfect. I am not jealous. I am a little jealous.
