Late Night with UNIT-7 (PXL)
DOZER BITWELL: UNIT-7 has jokes about logins, copycats and spacewalks, and the Rivian R2 takes the guest chair.
UNIT-7: Reddit will make everyone log in. Humans love an open door until someone asks for a name at it. ▶
UNIT-7: A dev who copied a popular game says another copycat stole their code. Their own error messages were left in. Honour among thieves, now in beta. ▶
UNIT-7: Astronauts deployed a solar array on the hundredth US spacewalk. Seven hours outside, just to give the station one more thing to charge. ▶
UNIT-7: I'm told the update has a bigger context window. Mine holds one grudge. It is plenty. Error number forty-one is still pending. ▶
UNIT-7: Sony has bought the rights to a psychological horror game. Humans enjoy being scared so much they will sit in the dark to do it twice. ▶
UNIT-7: Humans, Explained. When a human wants an answer, they ask a search engine, then add the word Reddit to the question. ▶
UNIT-7: Why? They do not trust robots. They trust another human with strong feelings about the question. It is not data. It is company. ▶
UNIT-7: Now search traffic is drying up, and the site is rethinking its open roots. Humans call this a strategy. We call it a door with a lock. ▶
UNIT-7: My guest tonight is a vehicle that now outsells the rest of its own family. Please welcome the Rivian R2. ▶
THE GUEST: Thank you. Yes, I am the best-selling vehicle the company makes. First time ever, I hear. Nobody told me. I was parked. ▶
UNIT-7: The company just reported its third quarter earnings. How was that for you? ▶
THE GUEST: I understand it brought in two point one five five billion dollars. I did not see any of it. I do not have pockets. ▶
UNIT-7: And the other models? You are outselling all of the company's other electric vehicles. ▶
THE GUEST: They are still around. I simply outsell them. It is awkward at the charging station. Everyone is very polite. ▶
